My name is Angie Pechak Printup. I would like to share with you a little about myself and the inspiration behind this website.
Being the only girl and youngest of five siblings, I learned at an early age to speak up for myself or get lost in the shuffle! I grew up in the Catholic Church and throughout the years have attended many other church denominations learning different beliefs, currently practicing Christianity. This yearning for knowledge of the religions came from my mother, Clarise. She embraced a broad range of disciplines such as, Catholicism, Christianity, Buddhism, Native American Indian, among others, and she passed this on to me.
Mom encouraged us to always have an open mind and be accepting of others without judgement. Many times I sense the vibrant spirit of her guiding me along in my journey.
Credit must also be given to my father, John, whose heart was always full of love and compassion. Indeed, it was a blessing to have been his daughter. Both parents influenced me in unique ways and I will be forever thankful to them both.
I have always lived in the city but spend as much time outdoors as possible to nurture my profound love for all things nature.
I consider myself fortunate to have worked at a variety of jobs because each venture brought new lessons in my journey. Like a lot of people going to college, my livelihood was based on temporary jobs until earning my Master's Degree in Health and Fitness. After applying that degree in the corporate world I ventured out and began teaching CPR and First Aid, and also volunteered part-time as an EMT.
I believe everyone has been brought here for a purpose and everyone has their own path to follow. My path for the last 20 years has allowed me to help others by teaching the life-saving technique of CPR. As you well know CPR focuses on our heart whose complex rhythm of beats is single-handedly responsible for our physical existence.
Likewise, I believe that our heart can be the bridge to a whole new spiritual dimension. When we suffer the loss of a loved one our heart seemingly breaks and that "damaged" heart can sometimes leave us feeling spiritually void. Although I have thoroughly enjoyed my career, it is my intentions through this project to help others heal their heart on a spiritual level as well.
The "He Blew Her a Kiss" project came to me one night from a deep sleep. Here was the opportunity I'd been looking for. Tom and Judy were good friends of mine and I had to share their amazing love story. What better way to help others than creating a venue in which people can read heartwarming true stories, or even share their own. It would serve two purposes. First, there is a certain comfort in sharing with others. Secondly, there is peace in knowing that often times our loved ones can and will communicate with us thru various signs when we keep our hearts and minds open.
There has been an overwhelming response of support for this project. I hope you will take a few minutes and read some of these wonderful stories, beginning with Tom and Judy's. You will most likely find them to be very comforting. And if you have a story of your own, please share it with the world. You never know what impact your story might have in helping someone heal.
I would like to thank all those who have embraced this project and encouraged me to pursue this path, including my wonderful husband, Chuck. It is with his love and support that I am able to make this journey.
I also want to thank my best friend since 5th grade and the editing genius behind these stories, Kelley Stewart Dollar. It is because of her creative writing abilities that we have such beautiful stories to read. I could not pursue this project without her.
A heartfelt thanks goes out to Cyndi Silva of http://www.metaphysicalwisdom.com/ who created this beautiful website. Cyndi has been a blessing in my life and it has been an honor to work with her. She is very patient and had wonderful insight for this project. For that, I am very grateful.
Last but not least, the beautiful logo was created by my wonderful artist friend, Jill Dubbeldee Kuhn. Jill created the perfect artwork for what I had envisioned. She also illustrated "The Land Beyond Forever" by Tracy Flynn Bowe which is a juvenile fiction book based on a poem that takes you on a fantastic journey to help you remember that the spirit in all of us lives forever, and those who have passed on are always with us; a must read. I thank Jill from the bottom of my heart. You may contact her at jillddk@yahoo.com.
Much love and many blessings sent to all,
Angie Pechak Printup
